omg you could not make it up! well done....

now, the bad news. The day after a big competition is a great time to fish a beach, although it usually thanks to all the spare bait checked away at the end or on the high tide line attracting in shoals of fish, and in this case, I think you have it all in the freezer!

Evening

So I was out yesterday (dont ask me, i'm not right in the head!) And had quite the fruitful evening!!

11 Fish!! I was as happy as a pig in muck!

4 Small Flats,

6 of these things - Can anyone enlighten me as to what they are??

And My First Cod :D

I was raging about the photo, Im covering half of it but I swear it was about 30lb!!!!!!!!!!!!

The usual thing when you get a fish and cant get a camera or in this case you can and it's attached to a dead phone :x

I think im getting the hang of this sea craic :D

Next job - get a good rod! I have another thread open looking for suggestions so feel free to let me know your thoughts.

Great day out - A day well spent is a week content as they say!

Those are pin whiting. Get used to the sight of them....

....although in fairness, a 30lb pin whiting is a pretty decent catch. :D
