Reminds me of a session I had in 2010 which I named (better than bass heaven),now you know exactly what I meant . Great fishing and report and most important, keeping only 1 fish

Well done that's some session, you should have gutted your fish at the beach.

I had thought of it, as I usually would, but in my eagerness to get to the mark I left my fillet knife behind I was in a weird excited state of shock I think from catching all those biggies It was even busier than In the report, as I didn't put in some details like snapping off during a cast, breaking a leg of my tripod, getting drenched by a rogue sneaky wave The walk back to the car with my gear was exausting. I was content just to make it home and worry about the gutting and filleting later. The remains where dumped for the crabs in the harbour the next day as I knew I would be going there for a walk.

Wow what a session most of us on the east coast would do with 1 bar of silver in a session fair play to you and the arms got a good workout and yea it be easier to gut on the beach

It was a busy night indeed, it was a fair few days after the full moon so I am not so sure about all that stuff, but I did get a feeling that the moon rising on the tide that I think fishes best on that particular mark might have had something to do with it.

Just read your report, great session too, and in Dublin, even better. Well I was having a few friends over for dinner, so It was a great meal to share. I wouldn't keep Bass for the freezer so why take more than you can eat fresh.
