I had thought of it, as I usually would, but in my eagerness to get to the mark I left my fillet knife behindnicefish wrote:Well done that's some session, you should have gutted your fish at the beach.
Cheers Ray, I was over the moon, I know they are rare enough from the beaches, I hope that we might be seeing a few more around.razor2 wrote:Great stuff Tony nice to get a few and a specimen

Cheers sparkey, yeah the arms got a good work out indeed, my shoulders where burning, see previous reply to nicefish about the gutting.sparkey+1 wrote:Wow what a session most of us on the east coast would do with 1 bar of silver in a session fair play to you and the arms got a good workout and yea it be easier to gut on the beach
Thanks zeke, those kind of sessions make all the other not so good ones worthwhile.zeke wrote:wow superb session matebig well done
It was a busy night indeed, it was a fair few days after the full moon so I am not so sure about all that stuff, but I did get a feeling that the moon rising on the tide that I think fishes best on that particular mark might have had something to do with it.lucky13 wrote:] fair play lad..tis a busy nights some of us mere mortals only dream about!!!

Just read your report, great session too, and in Dublin, even better. Well I was having a few friends over for dinner, so It was a great meal to share. I wouldn't keep Bass for the freezer so why take more than you can eat fresh.plumster wrote:Gets me restless reading a report like that
Reminds me of a session I had in 2010 which I named (better than Bass heaven),now you know exactly what I meant . Great fishing and report and most important, keeping only 1 fish
Cheers tight lines, you can see why I'm lovin it down south.tight lines wrote:super session mate and great report stuff of dreams well done

Cheers frank, Yep, good to see a few good size Bass availble to the shore angler. I hope that the ban is kept in place forever so fish like these will become the average.RockHunter wrote:Well done, superb session. Good to see some bigger Bass are now showing up on the Cork beaches.
Cod flop, you live in Cork and you couldn't get any decent cod? Am I getting mixed up here?hgibbs8129 wrote:giving me hope after the winter cod flop
