Re: penn mag lovers
They arrived!! Got my 515 today!
First impressions are all good, nice solid feel to it and the clicking mags and drag are nice along with a clicking end float doo da!! The spool is alot narrower than i expected ( slightly below a 6500 size I reckon) but it will hold plenty of .32 or .35 line. Nice big handle and a lower looking cage should make for a comfortable fit on the rod.
Faking casting here in the office with an imaginary rod and this 515 in my hand everything seems good!!
Hopefully I'll get one of those Tope down the back of the printer wall and give it a good testing under presure!
Will try get out tonight and keep ye posted.

Re: penn mag lovers
Wait until you get one before you offer an opinion, the one you imagine you have dosn't count.
For me I'm well pleased with reel and as I have 2 x 525's already I have no need for another!
Yet to cast them but I'll get out over the weekend and see how they perform. The spool is smaller than expected but once filled with line there's plenty of space for the biggest of thumbs and being lower on the rod offers a very nice grip on the spool!
Well worth the wait!
