they look a totally different shape to ronalds fish in fairness, so im going for turbot, myself

When i saw the fish on the beach i was sure they were turbots and still am.It was a good day out and pleanty of species and looking forward to hitting those marks again soon

Nice fish there I love catching a range of flatties one day I had a turbot flounder plaice and dab from Doughmore beach in Clare all flats but I dont think they will come in that succession again........

ok then lads,the only one that can definitively answer the question is boycie.brill are members of the turbot family with only subtle differences(turbot-rounder with slightly lumpy skin,brill-more oval with smoother skin).maybe im wrong but the first fish really looks like brill to me so maybe boycie noticed a difference and would set my mind at ease as i havent slept a wink since......... :lol:

LADS . i think they are both turbos but the brill look-a-like was almost completly smooth !
