Kilcoole has a fair bit of weed for the first couple of hours of the rise and then it mostly clears. Still fishable but lots of heavy clumps floating along

Kilcoole fishable today between 2.30 and 7.30. A bit of weed in close. Very few fish :cry:

Greystones south beach clear of weed yesterday, 15/04/12, riddled with crabs though.

Species 2012: Flounder, Whiting, Dublin Bay Codling, Coalie, 3 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Bass, Dogfish, 5.2lb Starry Smoothhound (PB), Twaite Shad, Thornback Ray 5.8lbs (PB), LSD, Pollock, Ballan Wrasse, Cork Wing Wrasse, 43cm Flounder (PB)

Species 2013: Coalie, East Coast Codling, Smoothounds, And hopefully a back opp to get back fishing soon...

Tobair Patrick weed free (moreorless) last Sunday evening, 15/4/12. Few small flatties around but nothing else.

Was down in North Wexford this morning, murky water with a good bit of weed, gales easterly forecasted tomorrow
