I'll be there ,is it benone or downhill , i'll prob be on the bike unless i can cadge a lift .
Bait shouldn't be a problem as the tides are pretty good for digging that weekend .

is there not a bar close to the entrance of benone beach ,they used to have alot of the weigh in's for the open comps .
If someone shows you a mark to fish, respect it and dont pass it of as one of your own, dont tell every man and his dog about it.

There is some bar at the entrance to benone beach alright. Its where the check in was for the jimmy smith last year. BigPhil will know what its called.

Yeah gonna try and make this, should be plenty of slaggin by the sounds of it :lol:
Sea Species(25) bass, codling, whiting, turbot, seatrout, stingray, pollock, coalfish, longspine scorpion, ballan wrasse, dogfish, ling, pouting, poor cod, dab, mackerel, smelt, sandeel, launce, bull huss, painted ray, thick lip mullet, golden grey mullet, rock goby.

Wasnt it Bradan who was bidding against me on Ebay for it in the first place and ended up pushing the bloody price up by an awful amount...?

All the fuss to get it and I only had it out of the bag twice I think. Sum total of fish to it with my name was a small coalfish...8 inches or so. What does pete go and do with his first cast with it? A Cuckoo ray and something else double?? Git.....
