I just heard that this is still going ahead this weekend despite all weather warnings from met eireann wheres the health and safety in that

It should have passed through by the week-end. Anyway it's not like the old days when there would be 120+ anglers :( at it. Plenty of sheltered place to hide the hand full of anglers that will be fishing in each zone.

If theres a weather warning in place then I doubt their insurance will let them run a competition.

To be fair there are no current weather warnings for the duration of the competition.
Fluff chucking is the new black..... Rampant Wreckfish is a fly angler in denial :D

Just came off Streedagh beach there. Conditions are perfect, same as it was for Tullan yesterday. Pity the fish haven't turned up but thats fishing
