just got this rod and was wondering about the length of drop for good distance ? had it out last night but was to busy reeling in bass to worry about such technical things  am gonna head out in the next day or so for some practice :|

I'd give it a good long drop and a big slow build up to the hit, start from halfway down the rod at least on the drop and work down from there.

And no fish talk on this SACRED forum!! :D

If my memory serves me right they have a stiffish tip and are designed for off the ground casting with a quick pick up of the lead.
Kstaff has always been the new black in my eyes anyway!!!!!!!

Indomitable spirit - never giving up or wanting to give up.
