we might hook up around the muglins phil give me a bell when your thinking about it
I might try a bit of powder at some stage, the thing is the heads cool down very quickly,so i imagine they would have to be heated up again to coat them. Im going to cork in a couple of weeks,you can pm me the lures your were catching on if you like

Here is a couple more leadhead shapes i made last night 
not sure of the weights i guess about 25g for the larger one and the smaller one probably about 15ish, i need to get a mini scales

alright man have you rough measurements of the them just to get an idea of the weight?? want to try make myself a mould for my own lead heads, sick off loosing them. At times i might aswel just throw the money straight into the water lol
2011 species: pollock,mackeral,coalfish,whiting,codling,conger,flounder,dogfish,pouting.Not bad for my first few months fishing

John they look great. Its a handy tread been trying to find where to find the stuff to make some lead head. Some nice sites on here. Handy hobby for when i can get out fishing

nice wan john,pretty sweet led heads man,have been making pirks and grippers and deadweights for years,but have never seen such a smooth homemade mould.
its always so much better when you land a nice fish on something you made yourself from the leader knot right down to the weight.

Now u do have me thinking, lets see what is in the garage.
I must admit well worth the effort, regarding the painting I reckon if fishing at depth a luminous head might just make a difference
