was alright Pat, nothing really to write home about, but we got about 15 dogs, 3 spurs up to 6kg, couple of smallish pouting, whiting and poor cod, plenty of good sized ballans (1 specimen) around a dozen cuckoo- and corkwing wrasse, 30-35 medium to small pollock, 1 small coalie, one cod at around 4lb, a 1/2 box of mackies and a small grey gurnard. Weather was near tropical and the sea like a millpond, great crack and the banter was flying, Miller was kept on ice too...

a good trip to go by all accounts, an excellent skipper, a bunch of decent lads as crew and 2 new species for me

what more can you wish for from a day's angling?
