I fished a match last Monday night (SPA,Fenit) and conditions were far from nice with a stiff South Westerly and a fair bit of weed about. This was the first real outing for the Ian Golds Extractor and it stood up to the task much better than I expected, it was putiing 3 baits and a 6oz lead to distances I was surprised by.
The tip of the rod stood firm despite the cross winds and weed. My first cast resulted in a Ray of about 7lb and a flounder + a load of weed. Usually I wud struggle in this situation but the Extractor was well up for it. I also have the super match extra which can do pretty much anything from flicking maddies 50 yards to putting 3 sandeel on a clipped trace to good distance over clean ground.
Overall very pleased with the rods and the service provided by EastCoastTackle. Here is the link to their new site
