Report:well headed out on my own today for a few hours, my usual passenger headed off at the crack of dawn to fish a shore comp the 8am comp start and hiking over sand dunes was not for me

so anyway i got myself organised and launched for 11am headed out couple miles offshore hoping to target hounds with crab anchored up first rod down not long after the wind came out of the blue sw blowing 4 to 5 made it very uncomfortable so out of there i got headed in to hit some reefs action pretty much straight away with baby pollack taking the baits second rod went out slightly different set up wasnt long before some ballans made an apperance, couple of moves later seen a better stamp of fish come aboard got a pretty decent take and decided it needed the net few minutes and a few dives later a nice 5.5lb pollack graces the deck followed by a couple of decent smaller ones happy days, also getting in on some action were some nice ballen best over 3lb, also picked up poorcod dabs and whiting, not a bad day considering the way the weather blew up lucky to have been out at all
