Weather:calm and sunny, northerly 5mph 8)

Bait:rag, squid mackerel sandeel

Rigs:mostly 2 or 3 hook flowing traces on sand, leadheads for rough ground

Results:poor fishing with only a few dogs, tub and grey gurnards,dabs,pollack,a weever and a turbot


Report:spent most of the day drifting the peaks for turbot with tommy being the only lucky one!a small fish of around 2lb or so.
hopefully this is the start of a few of them appearing - hopefully a lot bigger though!.one of the other boats had 5 small turbot and a few spotted rays.the mackerel seem to have appeared in numbers again in several areas including ramore head, ridges and causeway bank. even the fishing wasn't great , the craic was - thats one thing you can depend on with that crowd of nutters! :lol:
