Leenan Pier, Inishowen, Co. Donegal

Leenan Pier is just behind Mamore Gap in Inishowen, Donegal.

Fished the rocks just to the right of the pier from low water until the tide was in full.

We were spinning and floating mackerel strips. Got nothing on the float but hit a few pollack to 3lbs on the condor bars.

Also got a nice sea trout which was a big suprise to me - I thought they liked beaches or estuaries! This ground is as rough as it comes!

Great day out watching the seals and dolphins. It beats lying around watching TV any day.
