Travelled up to courtown 2/7/04. High tide was forecast for 20.00. Fished from 17.00 till 21.30. Brought up an array of bait including fresh rag and mackeral plus frozen sandeel and peeler. walked south from the pier towards a couple of isolated coves. the sea was coloured with a fresh south westerly blowing and intervals of showers.Fished two rods and Caught bugger all apart from a few undersize plaice and a couple of eels. the frozen peeler was the only thing that seemed to tempt anything. However I did get a nice bag of fish and chips from the takeaway near the habour !!!
