Fished Ballygannon Thursday from 18:30-23:30. High tide was 21:00 approx. I was using Ragworm and Mackerel as bait. On my first cast with a two hook trace I Caught an absolutely huge Edible Crab and a small rockling. Both where taken on Ragworm. On next cast I got a big Doggie on the Mackerel. Went a bit quiet after that and I lost two traces, Be warned, Fishing to the right of the stream mouth there is very rough ground. Three lads came down to try a bit of spinning while I was there, and a few pollack where taken but no Sea Trout. Anyway moved to the right of the Stream, Didnt lose anymore gear and caught three more doggies. Not a bad night really and conditions where ideal for a few cans of nice cold beer which would have been ideal if I didnt have the car!!
