Portstewart strand

#1 Post by MC »

fish the Portstewart strand last night, not much happened had a few bites but resulted in a blank for me but my mate Louis managed a rockling on last cast. The weather was great until the sun went down then it got nippy. Was fishing a rod in close and one out far using ragworm, sandeel and mackerel and had to change baits often as the crabs where in full force. Must say even though its my first blank of the year( only my second time out) it was great to be fishing.

Now and again we all get reminders that it's called "fishing, not catching"!
