Tide/ flooding
Bait/ Mac, frozen lug, frozen sand eel
Conditions/ warm, sunny and calm seas
On a family holiday me and the brother in-law got a pass for a few hours on the condition we bring the most troublesome kid with us.
Arrived at rocks near Louisburgh and the weather and the views were spectacular. The kid was warned to be on his best behavior as it’s not a spot to mess around at and to be fair to him there wasn’t a bother outta him.
Anyways, fishing was slow until about an hour in I landed a cracking Bull Huss, then a couple of doggies for the bro in-law and a blenny for the kid.
We’re all novice anglers so this forum has been handy for picking up a few tips and it was great to be out catching a few fish, especially the Huss as I’d never caught one before.
