Location: Kilcoole beach
Tide: Low tide @ 8:30 PM
Weather: windy SSW and a bit choppy at start:
Bait: Lures
Despite the windy forecast with chances of thunderstorms I decided to try an evening session after work yesterday. Just as I arrive at the beach sun started shinning and wind was dying down.
Few casts in and I got a hit...it was way too close in to be anything else than a bass...and so it was. Little fella but a bass nonetheless. First one this year
After another half an hour of picking up only weeds i got another hit...another bass. Quick photo and back it goes.
Nothing else until the end of the session...except a dolphin that was playing around within casting distance from shore. Never saw one so close to shore before.
All in all really happy with the result.
