Duncannon Codling & Whiting

Postby Rod Tips » Sat Feb 23, 2019 1:56 am

Down here with the family, had my youngest daughter with me, fished the harbour as it was the only place sheltered from the wind. Used lugworm and sand eel. My daughter caught her first fish, a small Codling! She was chuffed with herself. I caught one small Codling and a couple of Whiting. The Codling was 28 cm and the whiting were around a size 10 (shoe). All fish caught on sandeel.
