Fished a Sligo beach mark 5pm - 7.45pm on monday night 7th Jan, incoming tide , had lug and sandeel for bait. landed 4 flounder (35cm, 32cm, 29cm and 28cm) and a single Coalie.

North Mayo Beach 2pm-5pm, incoming tide saturday 5th Jan. had 27 fish mix of coalies and flounder. small coalies averge size 19cm all on lug, flounder took mackerel and one on clam. little brother had 7 coalies also.

Peir sunday evening 6th Jan, Mackerel and lug for bait.7mp - 9pm. first cast produced a pouting followed by a 3 bearded rockling on lug. after some time 2 whiting took the mack baits and called it a night as the tide turned.
nothing too exciting but good start to the year!
