From: 14.00 to 17.00
Low tide: 17.30
Weather: wind 20km SW
Bait: mack strip and shads
Results: pollock
Thought I'd take advantage of a few free hours today and tried a bit of LRF off to the side of the harbour. It looked a likely spot. You can see that it's heavily fished for mack during the summer, lots of feather packets and beer cans thrown about

there were a few people fishing with feathers, didn't see them catch anything. but managed to find a spot that was ok. Had a few small pollock on the shads. Then the wind and waves picked up a bit and the water took on some colour, shads stopped working. So I set up a float rig with mack strip and had another few small but nice fish. I know fishing around places like Bullock might not be the first choice for many of us but it was actually quiet good (all things considered). Just a pity that every rock mark around Dublin is being littered. Anyway, pollock on light tackle was worth the trip
