Smooth Hounds

#1 Post by joeymackerel »

Went for few casts lastnight with the hope of few hounds, Water was boiling with sprats when i arrived and could see bass chasen them onto the rocks tru the clear water. Few sea trout leaping clear of the water to. Sickened i didnt have lure rod. Baited up pulley rig 2/0 pennel with fresh crab and launched it for the horizon, didnt have to wait long after bout 5 minutes got good pull down and then slack line , hooked into first hound! decent size male fish! landed another 2 after that about the same size and a flounder. Grand evening to be out and few fish, happy days! ...Shout out to Ste from dublin who gave me the few crab sound lad
