Bait:mack and sand eel

Results:1 gurnard ,1 flounder ,3 whiting




Report:Decided to bring the family out fishing for the day , and to try get my daughter her first fish , sun was splitting the stones , we got there just at the start of the rising tide, got plenty of big bites and lost a couple on the way in , Katie (9) decided she wanted to try some sand eel , so she hands me 2 of them with the heads cut off , (she said the guts might attract something hahahaaha) anyways cast out to decent distance and BANG ! couple lovely bites and reeled in a lovely tub , for her first fish , One happy little girl who is now "hooked" and cant wait to get out again :) Tried and tried for a dog but nothing at all , caught a couple small whiting and a decent flounder, roll on next week till we hit the beach again

That's a fine Gurnard, no wonder she's hooked.
Fair play to ya, fishing is more than a pass time, it's a life skill.

Cheers :) , she really took to it , I'm delighted I brought her and she likes it , my father taught me when I was a nipper , heading out again the weekend , hopefuly get a decent run of dogs this time , so she gets a good fight
