Greystones Harbour, 21/06/2013

People: Meself

Duration: 8pm-midnight

Tide: HT 11pm

Weather: Showers, slight wind

Bait: Rag

Rigs: 3 hook trace

Results: 2 Doggies, Flounder, Whiting & Rock Ling

First report from me as haven't fished in over a decade. Got some good pointers and advice from the folk here, much obliged to them. Arrived at 8ish and hopped onto the breakers over the wall, opened my rag to find them all dead. Sigh. Baited up anyway tossed out and lost a trace after 5 mins. Go home or not? Put another trace on and 5 mins later landed a nice doggie. Then another 20 mins later. Getting lots of bites all night and pulled in a small flounder (or is it a plaice?), whiting and rock ling so well happy with my first outing. Just wanted to get some bites and pull in a few so mission accomplished.

Think safe to say I got the bug again, so looking forward to trying other spots over the summer.
