Rigs:I tried a hard plastic surface lure, a hard plastic suspending lure and a couple of soft plastics with jig heads.

Results:Nothing.

Hard luck on blanking but sounds like it was a nice evening

Hard luck John will be trying with the spinners etc myself this year so I expect to have many a blank as well

I was out sat morning in a spot which normally produces wrasse and pollock for 3 hours with soft plastics and a rod with rag and a float set up. Not a touch on either rod. Let's hope the water temp picks up a bit more
