No more sea breams then in September? I read all your reports about catching them in Dungarvan, has anybody caught them in East Waterford, Dunmore-Tramore area? Never heard any reports from that area, can't see why they wouldn't be elsewhere if they are in Dungarvan

Hey lads,
I previously fished Cunnigar before and blanked, can you confirm if I was fishing at the right location.parked at a car park and walked along the right coastal edge, to the black rocks, is this the best spot??

cunnigar is a myth.....only fishes well if you have live sandeel...blanked here twice...long drive home to dublin.

i think not. as a friend fellow fisherman and often assosiated with Dungarvan bay and arthur d a well known and liked angler in the local area .. as advice to the douthers all i can say is local knolage is a god sent .or maybe you could persist and eventualy you will catch loads of fish on the cunnigar .. i myself am a bit of a joy ridder in that i like to fish from a boat and keep moveing but the truth is that fishing from the bank has proved by far more productiive to my dismay. personally i cauth about 20 bass mostly schoolies never caught a gilt bream but i have withnessed large bag as have many of the locals . my personal best 7lb bass this year. i should point out at this time tat i have lived in dublin for some years. i spend every minute i can fishing on or near the cunnigar or ardmore bay or even ballyvoil east side of the harbour bass can be caught but not a fraction of the numbers the cunnigar can produce. SO wath ever way you achive enlightenment GOOD FISHEN.
