Tide:falling and rising

Weather: a wee bit of a gale a couple of light showers

Bait: mack crab lug

Rigs: balloon rig flapper pulley and sinky

Results: 3 codling a spider crab and a bass

with the lovely breeze yesterday decided to try a balloon and a polo mint rig after too balloons popping on me got it right third time i was actually really surprised how well it works dropped bait in right spot got 3 codling 2 for the pot and a greedy little one from the balloon rig .pulled in a massive spider crab and sarah caught a bass est 3lb didn't weigh or measure it with breeding season on the go it was caught in near not a lot of fish but wind was playing hell with rod tip so hard to tell bites . great night

cheers ya should try the west coast there seems to be a good few in they make absolute bits of my rigs though

well it took a couple of attempts to get going perfect but works well hopefully i'll put it to use for the tope
