Report:
Saw Dan on the Beach digging worms earlier, and I asked him where he was going... "Donaghadee, and I'm going about 12", was his reply.... So I figured I'd finish what I was doing and go meet him in the Dee afterwards... I ordered a Taxi at 1pm and was on the way, when who did I come across but Dan... "We're not going now".... So being a sensitive, friendly uncle I said "Gis your worms", and the rest is history!
Arrived at Donaghadee for 1pm and got set up, 2 baits in the water and from the outset it was a nodding rod, all the way. Coalies coming in in Singles and doubles, measured a few to get an idea of sizes and was pleasently surprised to find most of them were in and around 30cm.
The ground on Donaghadee (the mouth), seems to be becoming much snaggier again and I lost 2 traces on something, not sure what though.
Great way to spend a pleasant Sunday afternoon...
No surfers either.
