Report: . We had tried fishing Brittas bay that morning but the wind was against us , So we drove about trying to find some more sheltered marks. Fishing was slow to start, but once darkness fell it picked up considerably. In fact it was hectic. The plaice and whiting fell to rag tipped with squid, doggies fell to sandeel and squid wraps as did the tope .There were several other "anglers" on the beach. a group of which decided to light a fire and throw aerosol cans onto it , with the resulting explosions making us think we were back in Belfast :)
We are heading back up there on Saturday on the start of our 2 week "fishathon" where we hope to fish the coastline right round to Dingle in Kerry.
