weather windy as hell and lashing rain at 5
got up bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning to do a bit of mack bashing at enniscrone pier got there at 8 fished it till 930 i got 3 mack john got 1 so blank saved woohoo. Since we were out we decided to do a spot of fishing so a quick spin in to ballina to buy some bait . and then off to a the spot fueled on very strong black coffee
cheers john got set up very quick and found the place to be full of seaweed . since myself and john are very determined fishermen and kinda too lazy to find a weed free zone we decided to percsavere on no fish being caught till 3 ish a plate size brill that was released quickly so i could get my line back in the water . about a hour later i got the knock i was waiting for woohoo sea trout unfortunitly he swan straight in to me so not much of a battle a quick snap and sent the him on his way . then everything went dead .we headed off at 6 with 4 fresh mack for the pan
thank god i broke me mack cherry for the year as usual a cracking day out with john
