Well done oli, that was mighty fishing and a very productive night.

..(that place was nettet saturday morning)

I was fishing there on the Friday night (22nd April) and packed up around midnight. Before I left though there were two lights out on the water in different locations which seemed to be signalling to eachother, one white and one red, the red light appeared to be very close possibly only a few hundred metres away and I was wondering what was going on at the time.

Pollack Rock bouy, and the buoy outside it , its name escapes me...

Hmm maybe I'm not so sure as I'm pretty certain whatever the source of the red light was, was moving from right to left and it did seem very close, could have been my eyes playing tricks on me who knows

Same thing happened me on Ballycroneen one night.... thought a ship was goon come steaming up infront of me
Turned out to be the buoy allright

some people have all the luck i can only dream of a session like that a big well done great fishing

I know a lot of lobster pots get put down out from there, I guess the buoy's look similar?

well that was around 8-9 in da morning,so i can see propely,those lads try to come as posible as they can to shore,was dificult to do that for then course was wind from the side,the ship was something like this one:

hope they was for lobsters...
