Run the hook half way through the maddie do the same with one or two more maddies all on the same hook tip off with mackeral. I'ts best to dip the bait in the sea before casting, the cold water causes them to stiffen up, giving them a better chance of staying together when casting.

some guys just basicallyput on a bigger worm normally, then head hook around 10 of them on the one hook to tip it off

do you need a relatively soft casting style to keep them on the hook.

They're usually used in close. A rod with a soft tip does help.

dip your maddies in the water just before you cast !! this helps them not to fall off because when they hit the water they tense up !!

I've been told to run a hook from about 5mm behind the head and out the head and thread 4-5 up the hook then tip off with a sliver of squid or mack.
