Water Temperature: Where Can You Check?

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone knows of a good resource which details the current water temperature at the coast around various parts of the country?

I found this page on met.ie which details the temperatures for the last few years at Malin Head:

Is there a rough rule of thumb that can be applied to mackerel regarding when they begin to show up close to shore relative to water temperature? I have been feathering for mackerel in the past week and there is still no sign of them near the shore around cork harbour, although I suspect they are there a little further out.
