I usally fish with 1 zziplex profile cost 300 sterling witha abu mag green elite converted(90 streling with conversion). on the other side a century tip tornado sport with a abu mag orange elite conveted ( another 400 steling combined) I think I'll stick with my ian gold stand !!!!!!!!!..

By all means use a heavier grade rubber with rods such as those

Aghh I see your problem straight away,,,you buy newspapers.......1 euro a day*365 = 1 new rod a year. :D :D

I'm more lucky than most here i believe for my 7th birthday I got a 8ft spinng rod and reel(which I couldn't cast it was to long) . Let just say I was buying fishing gear when most peolple were buying books that told them how to do the rubix cube. :D :D

Prob were the idea came from to make alloy tripods my dog would chew the bamboo rendering it useless prob have to wedge the rod between crevices in rocks or push the butt of the rod into the sand ian golds does good tripods not that expensive :roll:
