A good way of storing your lures is in an old video casette box, easy to carry around too!.
Any other household fishing tips?

i like to store my lures in foam pipe insulation tubing, keeps them from ending up in a dreaded tangle.

Not really a Tip or Trick, but the Shimano Lure case is handy for bringing lures out on the water.

Plano boxes, available from lots of hardware stores, are also great for storing lures. They are really tough and come with lots of options for different size compartments.
Like this, only usually dark gray semi-transparent on this side of the Atlantic:

Its too big and bulky.....
I used to have a pouch bag wch i stuffed with pvc tubing using same principle as that but much more smaller. Most of them make things thats not practical on the market. How many lure that u need each outing??How many lure that u really used??Use to carry lots of them, but nowadays i only carry 8 lure each session,2 softies,2 top water,2 minnow and 2 spinner all stuffed in glasses case.

Thats the idea of my new lure box..just throw about 5/6 lures in there and you don't have to carry any luggage just your rod and reel and maybe something to clean your hands plus it costs nothing.

Joe, I "know" what you mean by carrying 8 lures... But I'm not so experienced so I tend to change lures quite often , also because of the very changeable weather and the fact that I'm still learning how to cast them properly. I don't think the box is so big and bulky though. It has 12 compartments (which can hold more lures) wraps nicely around the waist and can be moved around to avoid hitting it when retrieving the lures. It also has a zipped pouch at the front where you can carry clips, scissors, leader, etc. A big plus in my opinion is the added safety when changing lures in slippery rocks a opposed to carrying the common plastic box in the backbag. ;)
