that graph makes a lot of what has been written about bass and angling.... null..void...
cortaz i know what you are saying there, but i dont know if its quite that simple, i am guessing you dont either really :D
looking at your results and how you fish then i would say that you have mastered your area and how to catch bass from it, so you can rule out other variables and in essence control your fishing to the point where the only thing that changes is the prevailing conditions (ie tide, triggers and so on)
but , and this in one thing i have always noticed about moon phases and other feedng triggers, a good phase doesnt mean that anyone can go and drop a bait in anywhere and catch a fish.
i remember back when i used to fish religiously by moon phases and feeding triggers
(in freshwater mostly, where i have found other triggers like pressure changes, wind changes [both of which are linked to moon transits and set times] and light changes to have as much effect as the peak times themselves)
fishing a few sessions on peak days and catching over 100lbs of tench and bream. now i knew what the peak times where, others didnt, so i pre baited and fished positive and caught...but of the other five people fishing only one caught anything , about 10lbs of fish), and other sessions cathing lots of pike or big pike where the same thng happened, so the peak day didnt work for the other anglers
which basically brings me to my point...
i think the moon phases and how they work dont make other things null and void, i dont think that they are a be all and end all, though they are useful. i actually think that knowing the phases and how they work make being in the right place, with the right rig and bait, fishing in the right way and learing to read the seasons and conditions even more important because if you are in a place with no fish with a rubbish bait presented in the wrong way then all the best phases in the world wont help you.
now in your case you have the places sussed, you have the tactics and the baits worked out and you know how the seasons, weather and tides affect the fish and how they feed, so you make the phases work for you.
but if someone doesnt know any of that than saying "go fish on a good moon phase and you will catch" wont work for them. there are too many other variables that are as important as phases
also from your results above ... i always found the day either sides of the new, first, last and full peak days to be almost as good if not as good as the actual peak days themselves. do you not find that with bass?
