Flounder King competition.. Wexford 5/11/11

People:Myself/Paul/Marty/Evin/Toss/Tommy/Mick/Noel/Steven

Duration:10.30am- 4.30pm

Tide:rising/falling

Weather:beautiful day

Bait:peeler n black lug

Rigs:2/3 hook flappers

Results:7 flounder n one small bass




Report:
It was time for our annual Flounder king competition... a fantastic day was had by all.. we started fishing at 10.30 n i baited up with some fresh peeler.. on my second cast i got two hard knocks on the rod... i reeled in to what ended up being the winning fish for the day, weighing in at 2lb4 3/4... my new pb flounder... delighted r what.. i had another two flounder for the rest of the day which were just under 2lb.. Steven caught 1 flounder again just under 2lb.. Noel had one of a similar size n Paul a nice double header n the small bass.... a great days fishing n nice to be crownded the FLOUNDER KING 2011.. wahooo
