People:Ba, Pat and Myself
Duration:10pm to midnight
Tide:rise
Weather:Nice
Bait:Frozen Mack and Frozen Crab
Rigs:8/0 10/0 Steel Pulleys for the boys & 4/0 Pennel pulley for me,
Results: The Lads lots of L.S.D.s
Myself 4 Hounds
Report:
We went out for a couple of hours last night to break up the evening, the 2 lads were targeting Tope with the heavy gear and I decided to stay light and go for a few Hounds.
The tide was flooding, and the 2 lads sent their half Macks sea ward in search of Tope on either side of me. I fired out my Frozen crab and waited for the fist hit.
The lads were kept busy for the couple of hours with the dogs snatching their baits as soon as they hit the water, didnt really give the oul Tope's much chance of getting a bite to eat.
I managed to land 4 Hounds over the 2 hours, all of them seemed to be asleep bar 1 who gave me a small bit of a scrap in the final 20yards of the retrieve.
Roll on 3am sunday Morning for the Bass/Hound Attack !
