Just recently got a nokia n8,it has a 12 mega pixel carl zeiss lens which can take photos up to 20 in by 16 in.Comes with a usb lead and the phone is also HDMI and has a lead for that too to conect to a tv etc.Downloaded a free app from the nokia ovi store on the net,a panorama photo stitch which is amazing for stretch shots of scenery when out fishing...

I use a samsung m1 phone and am very happy with the results, only problem is that there is no flash for the night sessions, you can see some photos from the phone in this report viewtopic.php?f=3&t=31280

the phone works well with wet hands and bits of bait as well

have the Samsung S5230 Tocco Lite as well but dont think it is as good

More megapixels doesn`t always mean better photo`s!!!
the lens is a key factor in good photo`s... also the sensor size plays a huge part in photo quality!!!

that nokia n8 sounds good... if they have went to the trouble of using a carl zeiss lens then there`s a good chance they`ve used a decent size of sensor too!!!

The nokia n8 has a xenon flash too and 1/1.83" sensor size,ND filter and face detection ( in this case FISH DETECTION ) too  My previous phone was the nokia n95,carl zeiss and xenon flash too but the bump up in megapixels in the n8 is definatly a plus...

one with a slideover cover for the lense will stop it getting scratched ,the main cause of damage to most camera phones ,have a sonyerricson c905 over a year now and still takes good pics in daylight 5 megs, the flash is very weak for night shots
