A wonderful place for fishing and surfing- Easky, Co. Sligo

Postby tigho » Tue Jan 20, 2009 1:38 am

I have heard Easky pier is a very good place for fishing. Last month, I went there, it was too cold and had big waves there. I didn't even give a try, just took some pictures and back home, but saw many surfers are enjoying surfing there. Nice view!

i'v fished Easky peir a good few times, got plenty of coalies rocklin schad and loads of mackerel. i used to travel down there to fish the Easky river for the salmon a good few times a year, and always gave the peir a throw for a few hours. acording to the locals there is good pollock to be had off there on a night tide.....
