Keep an eye on the site, a venue has been selected and confirmed by the relevant county council. Just waiting for the permits to come through. We'll start announcing the event this week. Stay tuned!

Cool, I'm a local yak angler (& boat angler) interested to hear how the event went. I read the write up but there is no word on the 7 species landed in it

Thanks for that, Hopefully you will be back. Its a good place in a yak. In that area you can easily add Gilthead bream, bass, gurnard, codling, herring, wrasses, coalfish and a range of flatties. Bantry Bay Canoes in Bandon is also a good stop for a range of hardware for yaks.

irish kayak open was great event and very well run comp rnli were there with demo s on flares and on hand for the day for safety also the inland fishery lads for safety again very well run comp great prizes on offer and great day out roll on next year
