Thinking of taking the kayak out from courtmacsherry this weekend, are the mackerel around there? Haven't been out there before-where's a good area?

Between Horse Rock and the shore has proved fruitful for me in the past.

great weekend there, no luck kayaking for mackerel by the rocks past wood point though, took a slightly leaky mirror dinghy out from broad strand and got some nice pollock north towards wood point. We were a bit late for the tide, it had the 'feel' of a good area though-will be back...
