Century E1000 SB & 125 gram

Postby JPS » Fri Sep 23, 2011 3:44 pm

Well after waiting for Fedex to make the delivery of rods I finally got them and couldn't wait to try out some of my new toys. Unfortunately due to work commitments I could only once again get out during my lunch break and cast from one of the local bayside beaches with its soft sand base. Not the best for getting the most from a rod but still a lot better than sitting in the office.

The rod is a E1000 that has been shortened down as being only 5'6" I find the longer rods just don't suit the way I am currently casting. Conditions weren't the best with an onshore southerly but as I was using the Penn squall I had no fear about the reel backlasing or over running as long as I did my part.

Here is the video from the session , I will be working with this and a few other rods over the weekend to decide on which one I will use for the upcoming comp on the 2nd of October.

Once again feedback and comments welcome. :D
