It wasn't a fish-fest ,.... a few whiting and flounders were scratched out , the lads fished well on the end pegs. one or two dogs , codling, coalie and suprisingly pollack were added to the meagre catch return on the night.

Retaining the trophy in 1st place was Alan Mulcahy , 2nd Paudie O'Driscoll , 3rd Joe Ganley , 4th Mick Mullane , and 5th was a fella who had travelled down from Belmullet to fish the comp ,apologies as I don't know his name , hopefully one of the other lads will put it up.

21 Anglers turned up
82 fish were caught, the majority being whiting (only 3 cod were caught and no rays)
There were no blanks.
Fishing was slow for the first hour, but picked up when darkness came. The weather was good but probably too calm.

Here's the top 10 -

1st Alan Mulcahy 345pts
2nd Paudie O'Driscoll 238pts
3rd Joe Ganley 214pts
4th Mick Mullane 208pts
5th Michael Farrelly 184pts
6th Cliff Gallogley 178pts
7th Alan O'Dowling 177pts
8th Geroid McCarthy 156pts
9th Barry O'Rourke 150pts
10 John Broxson 138pts

The BASS Club would like to thank all the competitors that turned up.
