Casting/open day 28th aug 2010

Members of Westcork & District are holding a casting/open day for all anglers on sat the 28th aug from 12:30-4:30pm.on the day visitors can learn different casting techniques,this will be of great help for those wishing to increase their distances as we have some big casters in our ranks,multi and fixed spool, and your distances will be measured if you so wish. get to use members rods including zzilpex,century,conoflex and some of the new ian golds range.some members of the 2010 world shore team will be at hand to answer all your questions along with the mere mortals in the club rig making clinics,tackle choice,what to use where and when, etc etc...it will be a very informal day and should be a lot of fun. all you need to bring is a rod, reels(a few spare spools for fx users) tripod and a few leads....this is open to all interested....the location is flaxford beach,halfway between ballinspittle and timoleague in courtmacsherry bay.exact directions are available in the forums section on our club website...www.westcorkanddistrict.webs.com for those interested contact us through this website or via our club site..regards sean
