Hi All
Has anyone tried some night fishing on the boat... i may be going out very soon and i am just wondering if you found it much better than day
Also
What rigs did you find works the best, and what species are likely to be about bar congers
Cheers

Because of the generally deeper water fished from a boat it would have less of an impact on the fishing versus the shore.
You would also want to make sure you have at least one other with you and are very experienced on the water.
In short, not worth the risk night fishing on open water.

If you are not prepared for night fishing it can be tough going on the body, your body will want to go to sleep!
I would say I have never found the fishing any better for sharks etc at night. I've tried it a few times and would reckon you get more fishing done on a long day trip.
