Myself and some guys from work are going out on a boat on Carlingford Lough in Mid-October.

What can we expect to catch?

A species competition was fished in the lough 2 weeks ago. Results were very poor no tope or doggies. Small pollock, coalies, ballen wrasse, cuckoo wrasse, codling and gurnard were caught but not in numbers. Fishing was best on the rock marks. My advise would be to fish outside the lough if a all possible. Best of luck.
