dropping gear case

hi guys just wondering is it hard to get gear case off small 6hp evinrude engine i be fairly mechanically minded just few tips is hat i need

The gear selector rod is the awkward part.Depending on the model ,some of them have to have the re-coil unit and carb removed to get at the pin.
