just one of many fantastic fish caught on a recent trip-of-a-lifetime to Yakutat in Alaska.
Pacific Halibut est. 150lb+
We fished out of Icy Bay and other species included: lingcod, smoothhound, skate, rockfish, salmon, yellow eye... An amazing trip!
one happy man!

All good here Charlie. Getting out the odd time, mainly after a few trout, so keeping the eye in a bit! Should manage a few sessions on the shore in the next month or thereabouts...... I think you've set a new standard in flatties though

Yep, some great fish there Chuckaroo, I like the "giolla rua" in particular, a bit bigger than the Melvin variety. Years ago I was wandering through the fish market in Killybegs and there were two huge halibut of the same size range as your fish. You could easily fit your head inside their mouths, now there's a photo for the next time!
